National Womxn of Color Collective (NWOCC) is organizing a summit, the Illuminate Summit: Shining a Light on Ourselves and Our Community, and we would greatly appreciate it if you could please share this event with your members.
When? Saturday March 27th from 10am-1pm PST (1pm-4pm EST).
What? The Illuminate Summit is a collective examination of the structural inequalities womxn of color experience in the legal profession. Attendees will participate in activities that strengthen our commonalities and celebrate our differences while investing in ourselves and our community.
Why should I attend? By attending the Illuminate Summit, you’ll have the opportunity to network, build a community, and receive one hour of community service that counts as one PILF hour.
*Please verify your PILF hour requirements with your school. Generally, law schools will accept PILF hours for volunteering with a nonprofit charitable organization.
Who may attend?
Anyone! The Illuminate Summit is designed to connect all of us, whether you are a potential law student, law student, attorney, or other professional.
The summit is FREE for NWOCC members. For everyone else, the event will start at $10 and increase as we get closer to the event. Register for the Illuminate Summit here!
