Wilson Elser's DC Metro offices are looking for part-time Law Clerks to work up to 28 hours during the school year. We are looking for a total of 3 Law Clerks, 1 to be based in each office located in Washington DC, McLean, and Baltimore.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is currently a third year law school student looking to take on a part time position with a national law firm. The law clerk will have the opportunity to work on a fast-paced team focused on insurance matters, and will gain substantive, transferable legal experience.

Bachelor's degree required
Currently enrolled as a third year law student at an accredited Law School to earn their JD
Experience and / or strong interest in insurance defense
Familiarity with litigation processes a plus
Must be goal oriented, efficient and extremely organized
Prior work experience in a fast - paced professional environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong attention to detail
Legal and factual research
Assist with analyzing legal and factual issues
Relevancy and issue reviews of documents
Assist with drafting coverage opinions and client reports
