The Supreme Court Commissions team at the Administrative Office of the Courts is seeking a Court Program Analyst (Program Coordinator) to coordinate the activities of the Language Access Interpreter Reimbursement Program (LAIRP). The Supreme Court Commissions are focused on equity and access to justice in Washington State Courts, specifically: language access, racial equity, and gender equity. This position joins a tight-knit team of skilled policy analysts and program coordinators who work on topics that are incredibly relevant to the issues we see in the court system today.
The Language Access Interpreter Reimbursement Program was created in 2008 to enhance language access by assisting courts with the cost of court interpreters. The Program Coordinator’s role includes: providing technical assistance to LAIRP participant courts, managing funding and contracts, collecting and analyzing data submitted by courts, processing invoices, developing education and resources about the program, and partnering with Office of Court Business and Technology Integration (OCBTI) staff on the development and ongoing functionality of a new web-based application.
